Van der Valk
Valk Loyal Balance
You earn Loyal credit on online bookings made through the Valk Account. When you make a reservation via the Valk Account, you can earn 5,- euro Loyal credit per night.
On discounted rates such as packages, non-refundable, last-minute, and deal rates, you receive €2.50 Valk Loyal credit per person instead of €5,- per night, regardless of the number of nights or packages you have booked consecutively.
You cannot redeem and save Loyal credit on corporate reservations.
You will receive the loyal credit exclusively at the email address with which the reservation was made. It is not possible to assign this Loyal credit to another email address or Valk Account. You will receive the Loyal credit on your reservation once you have checked out of the hotel.
The accumulation of the Loyal credit only starts after you have created a Valk Account. It is not possible to add reservations that have been checked out before the creation of the Valk Account to the Valk Account afterward. Additionally, it is not possible to receive Loyal credit retroactively for these reservations.
Bookings made via the Albert Heijn Voordeelshop are excluded from the Valk Loyal program. For these bookings, you cannot earn Valk Loyal credit.
Valk Bonus Balance
The Valk Bonus Balance is temporarily valid; you can only earn and redeem this credit at the Valk Exclusive Hotels. On this page you can see the overview of the participating hotels.
View Valk Loyal balance
You can view the saved Valk Loyal credits by logging in here. On the above page, you cannot view your Valk Bonus balance. You can only view the Valk Bonus balance when logged in via one of the Van der Valk Exclusive hotels.
Contact regarding balance questions
If the reservation was booked via the Valk Account, but you have not yet received Valk Loyal credit after checking out at the hotel, you can contact the hotel where the reservation took place directly.
Redeem Valk Loyal credit
The Valk Loyal credit you have accumulated can be redeemed during a subsequent stay at one of our hotel. This can be done when making the reservation in the summary step, just before you complete the reservation. You must be logged into your Valk Account for this. Valk Loyal credit is only redeemed for hotel stays and cannot be exchanged for Valk Giftcards or money. Additionally, it is not possible to transfer your Valk Loyal credit to other Valk Accounts.
Validity
The saved Valk Loyal balance is temporarily valid. You can find the validity of your accumulated Valk Loyal balance under the section 'Valk Loyal', after you have logged in to your Valk Account.
You will also be notified by email when your Valk Loyal balance is about to expire. The validity of your Valk Loyal balance cannot be extended.
Closure of your Valk Account
You can delete your Valk Account by logging into your Valk Account. Under 'my details' you will find the option to delete your Valk Account. It is not possible to reactivate saved Loyal credits from deleted Valk Accounts later.
Abuse or unlawful activities
If there is any suspicion of unlawful activities or misuse of the Valk Account, we reserve the full right to block your Valk Account. This also applies to requests for blocking from hotels.
