Sea Life Scheveningen is a huge sea aquarium on the boulevard of Scheveningen. You take a walk past more than 50 aquariums with sharks, rays, sea turtles, and otters. Through the large glass tunnel, it seems as if you are standing in the middle of sea life. Especially spectacular when the fish are fed. Before or after your visit, you can enjoy a pleasant stroll along the Scheveningen boulevard.
Tropical and themes
At Sea Life, you come face to face with the entire underwater world. There are often exhibitions on topics like tropical fish, lobsters, crabs, jellyfish, and starfish. In Amazonia, you feel like you're in the tropical rainforest and see the inhabitants of the Amazon River, including the dangerous piranhas. In the underwater tunnel "Typically Tropical," you experience the tropical seas. Surrounded by 180,000 liters of water, you can see a sea turtle, blacktip reef sharks, and beautiful corals. Children are allowed to touch starfish and small crabs in the touch pool. Sea Life regularly organizes themed weeks such as Shark Week, Turtle Week, and Seahorse Breeding Program.
