Pairi Daiza was proclaimed the best Theme Park in Belgium in 2013 and the most beautiful park and zoo in Belgium in 2014. The park is certainly worth a visit! "Pairi Daiza" means enclosed garden in Old Persian (the oldest name for 'Paradise'). The garden is what you would call a pure piece of nature. It covers 55 hectares, built between the ruins of the Cistercian abbey of Cambron and is surrounded by a 3 km long wall. Here you will find beautiful centuries-old trees and the most special flowers and plants. A piece of land where 5,000 animals reside and can be admired.

Giant pandas in Pairi Daiza

The park has a very old appearance due to the many ruins that still stand here. It is certainly one of the most popular zoos in Belgium. The biggest attractions are the two giant pandas named Hao Hao and Xing Hui. These two giant pandas have been loaned to the park by China. Do you also want to see these pandas?
